Methods & Approach
Working as a product design lead it’s essential that I am able to adapt my approach and react in an agile way to the variety of problems that I intent to solve. Below are a few examples of the methods I use.
Triple Diamond
During my time at CodeComputerLove the Triple Diamond was created to ensure we’re learning just enough to make the next decision, making a change and observing the outcome. This Product Thinking approach involves prioritising work that’ll make the biggest commercial impact, and constantly looking for ways to make the brilliant products I’ve created even better.
Customer Experience Mapping
I used a mix of qualitative and quantitive research to create Hillarys Customer Experience Map. Creating this kind of artefact helps to better understand the challenges, inconsistencies and duplications of effort within organisations. Whilst looking internally we are also able to identify problems that the customers are experiencing. Focusing in on the frustrations enables to extract opportunities for growth.
Workshops
Workshops foster collaboration, creativity, and alignment among team members. They provide a platform for exchanging ideas, solving problems, and making decisions collectively. I have experience in creating workshops which have interactive exercises and discussions to facilitate learning, innovation, and efficient progress toward achieving goals in a structured and engaging manner.
